"House Of Gold"--21 Pilots
She asked me, "Son, when I grow old,
Will you buy me a house of gold?
And when your father turns to stone,
Will you take care of me?"
She asked me, "Son, when I grow old,
Will you buy me a house of gold?
And when your father turns to stone,
Will you take care of me?"
I will make you queen of everything you see,
I'll put you on the map,
I'll cure you of disease.
Let's say we up and left this town,
And turned our future upside down.
We'll make pretend that you and me,
Lived ever after happily.
She asked me, "Son, when I grow old,
Will you buy me a house of gold?
And when your father turns to stone,
Will you take care of me?"
I will make you queen of everything you see,
I'll put you on the map,
I'll cure you of disease.
Ohhhh...
And since we know that dreams are dead,
And life turns plans up on their head,
I will plan to be a bum,
So I just might become someone.
She asked me, "Son, when I grow old,
Will you buy me a house of gold?
And when your father turns to stone,
Will you take care of me?"
I will make you queen of everything you see,
I'll put you on the map,
I'll cure you of disease.
Best Day Of My Life - American Authors
I had a dream so big and loud I jumped so high I touched the clouds
Wo-o-o-o-o-oh [x2]
I stretched my hands out to the sky
we danced with monsters through the night
Wo-o-o-o-o-oh [x2]
I'm never gonna look back Woah, never gonna give it up
Please don't wake me now
Oo-o-o-o-oo This is gonna be the best day of my li-ife My li-i-i-i-i-ife
Oo-o-o-o-oo This is gonna be the best day of my li-ife My li-i-i-i-i-ife
I howled at the moon with friends And then the sun came crashing in
Wo-o-o-o-o-oh [x2]
But all the possibilities No limits just epiphanies
Wo-o-o-o-o-oh [x2]
I'm never gonna look back woh, never gonna give it up
No, just don't wake me now
Oo-o-o-o-oo This is gonna be the best day of my li-ife My li-i-i-i-i-ife
Oo-o-o-o-oo This is gonna be the best day of my li-ife My li-i-i-i-i-ife
I hear it calling outside my window I feel it in my soul (soul)
The stars were burning so bright
The sun was out 'til midnight I say we lose control (control)
Oo-o-o-o-oo This is gonna be the best day of my li-ife My li-i-i-i-i-ife

Ms. Finazzo's welcome note
Dear Benton Elementary
Parents and Guardians:
Hello, my name is Gina
Finazzo. I am helping Ms. Hoeppner as a student teacher in music classes until
April 7, 2017. I have already met your wonderful students and been having fun
learning about and making music together! I am excited and grateful that I have
the pleasure of guiding your students in music and witnessing their growth as
musicians.
I am currently a student at
Mizzou pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Music Education
and will graduate with a K-12 Certification after ending my student teaching in
May of 2017. After my time at Benton, I will finish up my student teaching
internship with middle school band at Gentry Middle School here in Columbia.
After graduation, I plan on getting a public school job teaching music at the
elementary level in Missouri.
If you have any questions,
comments, concerns or something you would like to share with me about your
student, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Gina Finazzo
