Lyrics:

Worry, Worry, Worry

Worry, worry, worry, worry all through the night.
Worry, worry, worry, worry all through the night.
Lyin' in my bed, hopin' things will turn out right.

Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble is on my mind.
Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble is on my mind.
Ev'rywhere I look, trouble is all I find.

Sun gonna shine on my backdoor someday!
Sun gonna shine on my backdoor someday!
Wind gonna rise up and blow these blues away!

Worry, worry, worry, worry all through the night.
Worry, worry, worry, worry all through the night.
Lyin' in my bed, hopin' things will turn out right.

Giants in the Sky from Into the Woods

There are giants in the sky! There are big tall terrible giants in the sky!
When you're way up high and you look below
at the world you've left and the things you know,
little more than a glance is enough to show you just how small you are!
When you're way up high and you're on your own
In a world like none that you've ever known,
Where the sky is lead and the earth is stone,
You're free to do whatever pleases you,
Exploring things you'd never dare 'cause you don't care
When suddenly there's a big tall terrible giant at the door!
A big tall terrible lady giant, sweeping the floor.
And she gives you food and she gives you rest
And she draws you close to her giant chest,
And you know things now that you never knew before.
Not till the sky.
Only just when you made a friend and all,
And you know she's big but you don't feel small,
Someone bigger than her comes along the hall to swallow you for lunch!
And your heart is lead and your stomach stone
And you're really scared being all alone.
And it's then that you long for the things you've known
And the world you've left and the little you own
The fun is done you steal what you can and run!
And you scramble down and you look below
And the world you know begins to grow:
The roof, the house, and your mother at the door.
The roof, the house, and the world you never thought to explore.
And you think of all of the things you've seen,
And you wish that you could live in between
And you're back again only different, than before; After the sky!
There are giants in the sky!
There are big tall terrible, awesome scary, wonderful giants in the sky!!

Corner of the Sky from Pippin
verse 1
Everything has it's season, everything has its time,
Show me a reason and I'll soon show you a rhyme.
Cats fit on the window sill, children fit in the snow.
Why do I feel I don't fit in anywhere I go?
chorus
Rivers belong where they can ramble! Eagles belong where they can fly!
I've got to be where my spirit can run free;
Gotta find my corner of the sky!
verse 2
Everyman has his daydreams, everyman has his goals.
People like the way dreams have of sticking to the soul.
Rain comes after thunder, winter comes after fall.
Sometimes I think I'm not after anything at all.
chorus
verse 3
And maybe some misty day you'll waken to find me gone
And far away you'll hear me singing to the dawn
And you'll wonder if I'm happy there a little more than I've been
And the answer will come back to you like laugher on the wind!
chorus

Defying Gravity from Wicked
Something has changed within me. Something is not the same.
I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game.
Too late for second guessing, too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my insticts, close my eyes and leap!
It's time to try defying gravity, I think I'll try defying gravity,
and you can't pull me down.
I'm through accepting limits, 'cause someone says they're so,
Some things I cannot change, but 'til I try I'll never know!
Too long I've been afraid of losing love I guess I've lost.
Well, if that's love, it comes at much too high a cost...
I'd sooner buy defying gravity, kiss me goodbye, I'm defying gravity
and you can't pull me down!
So, if you care to find me, look to the western sky
As someone told me lately; everyone deserves a chance to fly!
And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free
To those who'd ground me, take a message back from me...
Tell them how I'm defying gravity, I'm flying high defying gravity
and soon I'll match them in renown.
And nobody in all of Oz, no wizard that there is or was
Is ever gonna bring me down!!    Ah!!!!!!

Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond
Where it began, I can't begin to know it,
But then I know it's going strong
Was it the spring, and spring became a summer?
Who'd have believed you'd come along?
Hands, touching hands reaching out, touching me, touching you!
Chorus:
Sweet Caroline, good times never seemed so good
I'm inclined to believe they never would

but now I'm...
Look at the night, and it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt, hurting runs off my shoulder
How can I hurt when holding you?
Warm, touching warm reaching out, touching me, touching you!

Chorus twice

I Will Survive  by Gloria Gaynor
At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong, and I learned how to get along
And so you're back from outer space
I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face
I should have changed that stupid lock, I should have made you leave your key
If I'd known for just one second you'd be back to bother me
Go on now, go, walk out the door
Just turn around now 'cause you're not welcome anymore
Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
Do you think I'd crumble, did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh no, no I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my life to live, I've got all my love to give
and I'll survive, I will survive  (repeat last four lines) hey hey!
